STATE TREASURER UNVEILS SIXTH ANNUAL REPORT TO THE CITIZENS OF ALABAMA 12/16/2008 View
MONTGOMERY-State Treasurer Kay Ivey issued a report Tuesday to the citizens of Alabama entitled, “The People’s Treasury, The People’s Business.” The report is her sixth annual report on the operations of the State Treasury and contains information on how much money comes into the State Treasury in a given year, from what sources, and to which fund the money is directed.

MONTGOMERY - As a result of the constitutional amendment on the November ballot related to rainy day accounts in the Alabama Trust Fund, my office has received a number of inquiries about the current composition of the Alabama Trust Fund. In an attempt to help Alabamians understand the current distributions of the oil and gas royalties and the income in the Alabama Trust Fund, I have prepared a one-page document titled ‘Alabama Trust Fund 101.’ This information, as well as additional information about the Alabama Trust Fund, can be found in a special section on the Treasury website by visiting www.treasury.alabama.gov and clicking on ‘Alabama Trust Fund’.
