As your state’s banker, I am proud to interface on a daily basis with members of Alabama’s banking community. Because of my previous banking career, I understand that bankers are the managers of hope in their respective communities. I know that communities do not grow without the firm support of their local bankers. Please know that I am always ready to partner with you to help grow Alabama.

This manual is designed to provide you an overview of the programs in the Treasurer’s Office that directly relate to banks. We strive to be “customer friendly” just like you do. My staff and I are available to answer any questions you have.

I hope you will feel free to stop by the Treasurer’s Office in the State Capitol any time you are visiting Montgomery. The coffee pot is on 8 to 5 and the door is always open!
